FulviCough Cough & Cold Syrup is a synergistic combination of fulvic acid (CHD-FA™), ivy leaf extract, liquorice root extract and vitamin C. Ivy leaf extract contains flavonoids with anti-inflammatory actions blocking the inflammatory pathways and stabilizing mast cells to reduce the release of the histamine that causes inflammation. It is used for the treatment of catarrhs of the respiratory tract and symptoms of chronic inflammatory bronchial conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, bronchiectasis, emphysema and pneumonia. Liquorice root extract is a traditional herbal medicinal product used as an expectorant in coughing associated with a cold. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) functions as a reducing agent and coenzyme in several metabolic pathways. Vitamin C is also considered an antioxidant.
